Crystal Healing Properties

It is often best to choose a healing crystal by your own intuition.  Some say that the crystal actually chooses you.

Calcite - CaCo3+Fe,Mn+(Co,Pb,Sr)

Calcite has been used for thousands of years as lime in folk medicine.  Part of a poultice for ulcers, warts, skin diseases etc.

Chrysoprase - SiO2+(Ni)

In antiquity, Chrysoprase was assigned to Venus.  (The very divine love of truth)

Mentally - Trust, security.  Reduces jealousy and heartache.  Ends recurring nightmares.

Physically - works with: the liver.  Detoxification and elimination.  Skin diseases.  Fertility in women.

Chakra: Heart, Sacral.

Citrine - SiO2+(Al,Fe,Ca,Mg,Li,Na)

Citrine is said to be able to strengthen the intellect and provoke a sunny disposition.

Mentally - Individuality, self-confidence, overcomes depression.

Physically - works with: the stomach, spleen and pancreas.  Stimulates the digestion and can alleviate diabetes in its early stages.

Chakra: Cleanses and re-energizes all.

Fluorite - CaF2+(C,Cl,Fe,Ce,Y)

Known as Fluorspar since the eighteenth century.

Mentally - stabilizing, self-confidence, dissolves narrow-mindedness, promotes organisation.

Physically - works with: the lungs, bones and teeth.  Stimulates the regeneration of the skin.  Stiffness and joint problems, arthrits.

Azurite with Malachite - Cu3[(OH)2/(CO3)2]+Cu2OH)2/CO3]+H2O+(CA,Fe)

Azurite with Malachite is far rarer than azurite.

Mentally - Makes us open, honest and helpful.  Brings harmony especially from inner conflict.  Releases suppressed emotions.
